The Staff Association Board includes members of our campus community from various departments. Although board members bring diverse talents and experience to their roles, they all have one thing in common – they value and appreciate their fellow Utah Tech staff members and want to represent you in the best way possible!
The UT Staff Association represents the staff to the administration of Utah Tech University and promotes open communication and collaboration between the Staff Association, Faculty Senate, and all members of the University community. The Staff Association strives to improve the working conditions, benefits, salaries, and professional status of its members. The association strives for excellence through service to the University community and is committed to assisting UT in implementing and achieving its mission and goals. The Staff Association also encourages professional development and training opportunities for staff.

We are thrilled to present an exceptional lineup of speakers and events for this year’s Staff Development Day. Kick off the day by checking in early to meet our vendors of services and resources in the Vendor Village. Be sure to grab your swag and pick-up some breakfast as you visit. Then, make your way to the Eccles Main Stage for a series of engaging talks by professional speakers and our own distinguished colleagues presented on a variety of topics. We will also be announcing this years Staff of the Year awards. Join us at noon for a delightful lunch provided by Utah Tech Catering at the Gardner. After lunch, don’t miss our exciting Utah Tech-ED talks with games and giveaways and announcements. As part of this Staff Association initiative, we encourage the campus community to carve out the third Friday of every month for professional development, wellness activities, or to catch up and get organized. This research-backed initiative is employee driven and supervisor supported, so Trailblazers can use this time in the most optimal way for them.
